Sites are hidden locations on maps and you may across them during your exploration. They are randomly generated in certain biome.
Gnarling's totem pole
Gnarling are a tribal community living in forest. As spirituous they are, they love carving huge pole and create a totem that covey their beliefs. We strongly discourage careless adventurer to approach their beautiful totem and disrupt their living.

Dwarf tomb
Some dwarf tombs are scattered across Veloren with a strange floating stone. Not much is know about the purpose of those tombs as Veloren's ingame lore will be procedurally generated. It may be a remains of an old dwarf kingdom, a huge relay or a hidden structure beneath your feet. Whatever is clear is that dwarf robbers have settled their hideout so we advise adventurers to stay away from these sites as we cannot guarantee their safety.
Hyena's lair
Hyena live in pack in the desert near those giant skull structure. It mays be a dinosaur specy, and probably 200 time bigger than the Archaeos you just escaped by a hair's breadth. Whatever it was, we are lucky it's dead and serve for hyena's teething in the present time. Judging their open jaws, i think you are their next meal.
Myrmidon's temple
Myrmidons, the old grec "Murmekes" meaning Ants, are inspired from grec's mythology. According to the myths, they were ferocious and powerful fighters that fought under Achille's order during the Trojan's war. If you ever wanted to visit a temple full of ants, this one is in good shape, but prepare youself for a rough battle.
Pirates's lair
Yaaaaaaar ! Pirates ! They build a boat shaped fort in the middle of wilderness. Those pointy hat wearing a coat with shiny buttons are a wild and lively community. Friends, beer, songs. Upon your arrival, they silently glared each other, put their hand to their sword. I got breaking news for you reader, gentle pirates only exist in fiction and you are probably a bag of money. Run.
Saurok Altar
Not much is know about the lizard-men tribe. You will find them in jungle near an aztec's style altar which they protect and bring some gift to a lizard shaped stone. Maybe a divinity that bring a good omen to their civilization ?
Stone arch
The stone arch is spotted in desert. Either the structure was natural or something else, no one know. Ngoubous took a liking for this spot where they can scratch their horns and do a running contest, with you.
Witch hut
Hidden beneath the tree you may encounter the witch's house, emitting a glowing green light. The witch live with 3 little cats that keep company during potion preparation. Those precious potions are often seeks by traveller that meet demise upon fighting against the witch.
