Location
Mindflayer's spawn locations are the Tier 5 dungeons with the purple orbs with a Blue Squid Icon on the map and the red dungeon glow on the mini-map.
Strategy
When the Mindflayer spawns the soldier minions try to group them up away from the Mindflayer that way you can hurt them with an AOE ability such as a Sword spin or Staff ability.
