Swords are a weapon type in Veloren. The sword's abilities feature slashing and piercing damage. Slashing damage reduces the enemy's energy and does extra damage when the enemy is out of energy.

Agile sword stance (needs editing)

| Mobility Combo | A quick four string attack. You swing your sword in front of you, striking up to four times quickly. The first and third strike are at 50% of weapon power. The second and fourth strike are at 60% of weapon power. Each strike has a 10% chance to inflict bleeding, All strikes are slashing damage. Uses 2 energy per swing. | |
| Feint | A sidestep slash. Quickly dodge to a side and slash at the target for 140% damage. This can be influenced by side stepping left or right before using. Uses 10 energy per swing. | |
| Agility | A buff to increase your movement speed and attack speed. Influenced by buff strength on the weapon. Uses 40 energy. Lasts for 20 seconds. |
