Caves are locations that can be found around the map. Stones, Ores, and monsters can be found inside. More valuable ores and tougher enemies spawn deeper into the caves.
Work in Progress
I'm trying to understand how those files work in order to get their drop rate and ennemy spawn :
https://gitlab.com/veloren/veloren/-/blob/master/world/src/layer/cave.rs
https://gitlab.com/veloren/veloren/-/tree/master/assets/common/cave_scatter
Gems and Ores drop rate are based on cave depth and sets of rule. We have three level of depth :
Shallow cave (depth = 40-80)
Depth cave (80-200)
Dark cave (>40)
