Leather Boot is one of the many craftable armor pieces available in Veloren. It is a direct upgrade to [[Rawhide Shoes]], as are all other Leather Armor pieces. It uses a stronger, tougher variant of [[Simple Leather]] in the form of [[Thick Leather]]. |

As with the Rawhide Armor set, the Leather armor set can be acquired by gathering a stronger variant of Simple Leather, called [[Thick Leather]]. As it is an upgrade, Thick Leather comes with the caveat of being harder to acquired, being dropped by stronger enemies further from towns. |

The Leather Armor set provides double the defense from its Rawhide equivalent, and if you play your cards right, can be acquired even before the Rawhide Armor set. If one is courageous enough to undertake the task of slaying stronger beasts with lower level armor, they will be rewarded with a great starter armor set that will be useful until Tier 3 Dungeons. |
